Weekly updates

When parents ask their child about his or her school day, some typical responses are: “I don’t remember,” “We didn’t do anything,”or “What’s for dinner?”  Children are focused on what’s happening next in their lives — the school day is over.

To help address this issue, the school principal sends a weekly update via email to each parent, describing the week’s activities and highlights, complete with digital photos.  This not only keeps parents up-to-date and in tune with what is happening in the classroom, but also increases communication between parents and child.
