Progress Reports
Progress reports support the partnership between parents and teachers by keeping parents informed of their child’s academic and social development. At Touchstone, extensive and comprehensive progress reports are provided two times per year.
Each progress report has two sections. The anecdotal section describes the student’s unique gifts, areas for improvement, and the concepts and skills he or she will focus on over the next few months. The second section reports outcomes across the complete Core Knowledge curriculum, as well as for the Atlantic Canada language arts and mathematics curriculum.
Progress Reports are maintained in a folder that is carried through the child’s time at Touchstone.
